    Philosophy class today

    1. Professor: If you say, "All humans are mortal; Steve is a human, therefore Steve is mortal," your argument is valid. Whereas, if you say, "All humans are mortal; Steve is tall, therefore Steve is mortal," your argument would not be so valid.
    2. Student: Steve could be a giraffe.
    3. Professor: Steve could be a giraffe. Steve could be a building. A building named Steve.
